New Milford trio creates a comfortable ‘hair home’ for clients at Great Clips hair salon

NEW MILFORD – For Kayla Ludovicy of New Milford, a hairstylist has the power to transform a person’s day and bring them “back from a very dark period of time” — all while getting their hair done.

“I’ve had clients sit in my chair and they’re recently widowed or have someone ill in their family,” Ludovicy said, “and I feel so powerful and so helpful [in] being able to just give them some time to relax and take care of themselves and realize they are worth love and caring for. … I think that’s one thing I’ve fallen even more in love with since going behind the chair and becoming the stylist I aspire to become.”

Ludovicy works as the manager at the new Great Clips, which opened for business at 1 Kent Road on June 17, making for the 14th location in Connecticut for the hair salon chain.
